Plans in the making, that would include the cutting back on its range of smartphone models for next year has been announced by the cellphone company, Nokia. The giant saw its lead in the market's descent, and this was as their rivals Apple, as well as RIM had continue to make ground.

The new chief of Nokia's smartpone unit, Jo Harlow, has stated that at the firm's capital market day, just this week, its portfolio of smartphones would surely be reduced by about fifty per cent.

Harlow then added that their competition in the market had been very fierce, but that she believed that the Nokia company surely had the ability to go on the offensive.
