Quickoffice is a leading competitor of the Microsoft Office platform. They have announced that they shall officially release the latest version of their document viewing and editing software which is Microsoft compatible. Symbian Nokia devices currently with the S60 shall receive a free upgrade to Quickoffice 6.
Quickoffice has a built in Quickmanager component which allows users to download and install updates directly from the device. This function can be accessed in the options menu. Many applications try to just copy Microsoft. Quickoffice might just be on to something.
